Course Objectives

The primary aim of the Carbine 1 Course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental techniques essential for effective marksmanship. Participants will learn to:

• Discuss proper setup of attachments and optics
• Develop and refine shooting skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Understand and implement techniques for consistent performance.
• Self-diagnose and correct shooting performance for continuous improvement.
• Learn to identify and fix malfunctions
• Understand mechanical offsets
• Learn proper reloading techniques

Items to Bring

• Rifle with sling
• At least 300 rounds of ammunition
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• Eye/ear protection
• Chest rig (optional)
• Note taking material
• Firearm cleaning kit
• Water/snacks
• Appropriate clothing for weather and environment (we shoot rain or shine)
